Avant Manufacturing was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2021. The pandemic was a time of stress and uncertainty, although the need for manufacturing remained high during these extraordinary times with pressure put on the industry to deliver expedited services to the medical sector. Started by Fenland based Precision Engineer Dominic Roach driven with a passion for manufacturing and a vision of delivering complex manufactured solutions to the advanced technology industry.

Founding Avant Manufacturing in 2021, Dominic has a great knowledge of the sub-contract precision sector having risen up through the ranks and held a number of key roles in a successful manufacturing business. As a graduate Engineer, Dominic’s interest is in design for manufacture (DFM) and working with clients to optimise their design for faster prototyping and most cost-effective production.
Tom Newman
Manufacturing Manager
Joining Avant Manufacturing in January 2022 Tom brings with him a rich experience in precision manufacturing, shopfloor management and customer relations. Starting his career in engineering as an apprentice, Tom has worked his way up through a number of key roles to have the knowledge and experiences to be a successful manager at Avant Manufacturing.
